PodsnapPodcast player for iPhone and Android
Podcasts, minus the ads.
Podsnap transcribes each episode, finds the ad breaks, and skips them while you listen. You hear the show, not the sponsor reads.

How the skipping works
Every episode is transcribed
Podsnap's server turns each episode into a timed transcript, so it knows what is said and when.
The ads are found
Sponsor reads, inserted ad spots and cross-promos are marked on the episode's timeline.
The break is skipped
Breaks Podsnap is sure of skip on their own. Unsure ones light up a button, so one tap jumps them.
A full podcast player, too
- Transcripts that follow playback, with search
- Subscriptions, smart and manual playlists, starred episodes
- Streaming and downloads, with auto-download rules
- Listening stats, including the time saved on skipped ads
- Sleep timer, playback speed and an Up Next queue
Ads rotate between downloads. When Podsnap isn't sure your copy of an episode matches its transcript, it tells you instead of skipping blind.
